About Winter Gathering
Winter Gathering, or WG for short, is a state-wide Venturer weekend camp held in July every year.
With a range of on-site and off-site activities available to all, this is one of the major Venturer camps of the year you don't want to miss.
It gets cold... Hence the name... But this allows for the annual massive bonfire, camp fires across the site and heaps of other winter-specific activities that most other camps don't offer.

Location & Travel
Eumeralla Scout Camp is a one and a half hour drive west of Melbournes CBD. Gates will be open at 5pm for all those traveling independently.
A bus service will be available to those traveling by train. The bus will pick you up from Waurn Ponds Train Station and drive you to site. Tickets can be purchased when registering for the event. Lots of Venturers catch the train which makes for a fun trip there and back.
There is very low/no reception in and around Eumeralla Scout camp so we would advise that all traveling by car have some other form of navigation just in case.
